His want was to be with this new woman, and his need was to get rid of his daughter, and he's fulfilled both. Or his want was for them to both get on, but his actually need was for the daughter to be out of the picture. Catalyst for change: the daughter has turned the timer on the microwave forward, so the meat is overcooked. We see his exclamation, and a smile on the daughter's face. The woman is trying to cut the meat, but it's too hard. He says he can get a sharper knife, but when he sees it he begins to get thoughts of murder. Theme: anti-social behaviour inside a family. *Prim and proper-spelling mistake. Does the audience understand the theme-bring in target audience. Significance to the plot scene 1: the anti-social behaviour which causes the noise pollution is what's going to upset his relationship with this woman. Still too much dialogue, bring back to 'Make me', but make the actress say it in such a way-performance. Justify why I am keeping the dialogue minimal-trying to create a very thick atmosphere of tension and suspense, suspense between the two lovers, and tension between the father and daughter. Trying to punctuate this with sound which is the motif of their individual wars. Trying to create a crescendo mechanism with my soundscape. Tone: ask one question to peers about the tone. Undertake a bit more research to find that what I thought was happening with tone, is what was actually happening with tone.
